“Big Data” is a rather nebulous term spanning a number of tools, technologies, architectures and business domains. Organizations are beginning to invest heavily based on the promise of extracting value from massive amounts of data. The technology ecosystem around Big Data is flourishing and the demand for software engineers with Big Data skills is exploding.
