Carol Orange is a Senior Performance Engineer at Oracle Corporation. She works on the evaluation and improvement of the Oracle 9i Application Server performance, and on DMS development. She modified the Sun Blueprint Java Pet Store code to make it efficient and scalable, and performed the tests reported at JavaONE and Oracle Open World conferences. Previous adventures include a PhD with a focus on image analysis, managing the technical activities of the European IP registry, and participation in the development of the TPCW benchmark.
