Mr. Raymond is the founder of the Open Source Initiative and the Chester County InterLink. His experience includes work at the Wharton School Computer Center helping develop APL, Pascal and LISP; working as a software engineer at Burroughs’ Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Programming Environments group, lead programmer at MicroCorp where he wrote UNBASIC; and as editor and publisher of “The New Hacker’s Dictionary.” His undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania were in mathematics and philosophy.
