2004 JavaMUG Notices

NerdBooks.com has moved from California into our neighborhood. The JavaMUG prez was there a while back and is impressed! The number of Java books is mind blowing and the number of other technical books is unbelievable. This store is like a walk-in Amazon for the techie. Microcenter had been fairly good, but these guys have two or three times as many Java books, and thousands of other technical titles from development to robotics, to expert systems and AI. They are still building out the store-front, but the warehouse is open for business. Other than the free books we get occasionally, why mention them? Dave Henley, the owner, is a great guy and a supporter of the community, and will be supporting JavaMUG, as well as other groups in DFW. We will see a lot more from NerdBooks, and Dave is building space that can support our SIGs, if needed. [2004]
