Review by Barbara De Vries

Hardback - 2001 195 pages

This lame little book is intended to be humorous, but is neither ironic enough nor substantial enough to merit attention.  Some irreverent language (i.e. bad words) are present.

The only parts I found useful were the two chapters on: "Plan to Keep 'Em" and "Plan to Can 'Em".

In chapters "Beware of the Snakes" and "Squash the Snakes Early" there is an interesting exercise in recognizing snakes.

The expression "Managers are Card-Carrying Members of the Baby'Sitters Club" is somewhat gratifying. Sometimes it feels like that, but it is never advisable to trivialize your job or your staff.
