"Technology Acquisition: Buying the Future of Your Business" (Addison-Wesley; ISBN 0-201-73804-X) by Allen Eskelin is a book which talks about how to buy technology successfully. It is full of strategies of how to properly select the right vendor for you. From my brief skimming of the book, it seem very through and in tune with the way you should do it. However, how often these days do we get the time to do purchases right?
