"Advanced Use Case Modeling" (Addison-Wesley; ISBN 0-201-61592-4) by Frank Armour and Granville Miller is yet another book on use cases. It seems for the past year that there have been a lot of use case books coming especially from Addison-Wesley. I will be honest and admit that use cases do not personally interest me much.

I found this to be a pretty typical use case book. In fact, I'm not sure why the term Advanced was just in the title. It would work fine as an use case introduction book just as well.

Where this book wins out against many of the use case book is that the writing is much more interesting than most. It's easy to understand as well. If you want a use case book, I would recommend deciding between this and Cockburn's use case book.
