• The name of the organization was changed from the Dallas/Fort Worth Java User's Group to JavaMUG (Java Metroplex User's Group).
• The next meeting with be a Live Java Demo from August on Dec 12th, 7:30pm.
• The January meeting will be on Jan 10th, 7:30pm.
• All future meetings will be the 2nd Wed of the month at 7:30pm.
• The goals of this group are:
  1. Archive common classes
  2. Tutorials
  3. Contract Programming and Job Opportunities
  4. Learning about Java without a browser
  5. Netscape/Sun future plans
  6. Learning about Tools for Java Development
  7. Making Technical Contacts
  8. Creating a mailing list of local Java users
