Attendance at the general meeting was agreed to be approximately
110 for the evening.

Programs:

Stuart confirmed the location of the joint meeting of the JavaMUG with the Unix User Group at the Double Tree Hotel (Central and Loop 12), July 10th, 7:00 PM.
- Dan made a motion for the JavaMUG to participate in the event as a co-sponsor. He proposed a contribution of $300 - the equivalent of the JavaMUG meeting sponsor's cost. All voted for it with Stuart abstaining.
- Dan assumed responsibility for making and placing posters with directions to the Double Tree Hotel on the door and in the lobby of the JC Penney building.
- Barbara will move the July sponsor to fill the August slot.
- Bob highly recommended Jeff Martin, the founder of the ReportMill software, as a speaker at the general meeting.
Pete charachterized the recent presentation for SCJD group on Java2D Graphics as a tremendous succsess. Billy will include Jeff in presenters' pool.

Issues concerning list moderating were discussed.
- Irina gave quotes for printing bookmarks with the JavaMUG information at Kinko's and Master's Press. The Board authorized Irina to print 1000 at Master's Press. The deadline for design ideas, exchanged via e-mail, was set to May 12.

Jay Zimmerman spoked briefly about final arrangements for the Lone Star Software Symposium.
