• Attendance at the general meeting was agreed to be approximately 56 for the evening.
• Programs:
• Dan made a motion to make special flyers for the joint meeting of the JavaMUG with the Unix User Group at the Double Tree Hotel (Central and Loop 12), July 10th, 7:00 PM, seconded by Bob. Pete will post list announcements using eye-catching colors.
• All spoke in favor of having bookmarks printed to promote JavaMUG at the July meeting. Irina distributed design samples and reported about a price jump for the project at the Master Press. Bob recommended a vendor who provides high quality at competitive price. The project was reassigned to Bob.
• The board selected A. Carapetyan to paint the javaMUG banner for the July meeting and proposed to pay $50 for the job. Pete abstained from the vote to avoid conflict of interest.
• Lone Star Software Symposium
• Pete moved to table the feedback and general discussion of the LSSS till the Board has a quarum.
